Location: Jaitsar haveli
While khajan was about to leave, dadisa again gets back to gim and tells him that they should all never be sad that anandi has left the haveli. he is told by her that from now on, he has to involve himself in everything that happens in this haveli. He humbly accepts and nods. And also thanks them for considering anandi as their daughter and doing what they did for her that even her real parents werent capable of.

Anandi ad shiv are being taken to their bedroom while sanchi’s friends and mahi are leaving no stone unturned to ease them on the way. After seating anandi inside the room, the others surround shiv and restrict his entry into the room. Shiv who is getting increasingly frustrated demands to go in the room. He tells everybody to stop their teasing and let shiv and anandi relax. While sanchi’s friend finally gives in, and presents him a rose to be given to anandi, mahi naughtily locks the door behind shiv and runs away with the key. when shiv turns around he is surprised to find a lock and the girls burst out in laughter. They all flee from there while a frustrated shiv runs to search for mahi.

While gehna is putting nandui to sleep, she notices basant deep in introspection and asks him what the matter. He laments that anandi, when she was in the family, instilled in everyone abright and vogourous vibrance that enthused the haveli. He too felt fatherly towards her and therefore, now that she’s gone, he feels very sad and lonely. He wishes for the first time that they had a daughter. Gehna consoles him saying that this is the tradition in the society. the girl always has to leave her house to take care of a different one for the rest of her life. But if given a thought and if this is what he really wants, then its still not too late and they could still adopt an unfortunate girl child and give her proper living. Basant is surprised to hear this and asks whether she is sure that this idea is worth considering keeping in mind dadisa and whether she would be able to accept the girl as her own. Gehna shows him that dadisa has changed drastically over the years. She has risen above traditions and superstitions to find whats right and do it. She cites anandi’s example of how she was preferred by dadisa over jagiya who she loved more than her life. basant too gets the point citing his own example of having gotten the same love from dadisa and more only, compared to bhairo even though he’s not her own. Gehna too says that at this stage she would find it very dificult to differentiate or demarcate her loev for nandu and the girl that they adopt. They both are happy at the idea.

Shiv comes down to find mahi, alok and dadaji watching the marriage video and pasing comments. He tries to call mahi in a hisper who deliberately ignores him. Dadji too teases him for not being where he should be right now. He then calls mahi aloud and alok too asks mahi to help shiv out. when he reaches, shiv grabs mahi by the ear and asks him to hand over the key. He feigns ignorance which causes shiv to grow more angry. mahi then finally gives him the key in lieu of shiv buying him the latest model of sports bike which shiv agrees to. He thn leaves.

Dadisa summons gehna and sumitra to her room and laments on her inability of groing over her relationship with them as their mother in law and becoming their mother. She says that she did respect them and treat them with dignity but also always expected them to sacrifice their comforts and wishes to fulfill the demands of their elders without bothering omce of their happiness and dreams. She was a good mother in law but could never grow that relation into a motherly sentiment. She folds her hand and apologizes to both of them for that.

Sumitra and gehna stop dadisa froma pologizing. Dadisa says that from today they would be her daughters. They are overwhelmed to hear this. She asks if they would consider her as their mother. They happily nod and get down on her feet saying that for them, she has always been the mother since she is the one who taught them how to lead life and how to form and maintain a family. She scolded them on their mistakes just like a mother and gave them guidance when they needed it the most. They says that they can never become like her but even if they are able to give half the love, respect and dedication to this haveli as she did, then thats enough for them.

Shiv opens the lock of the door and finds anandi by the window side anxious and nervous in anticipation. he locks the door and smiling goes upto her and placing his hand on her shoulders turns her around to face him. Finding her sad, he is concerned if she’s feeling alright and if she’s missing her family. He gets her to the bed and tells her to sit. When she doesnt, he makes her sit himself and tells her that he understands that its not easy on her to let go of her family to form new relations in a new environment. To cheer her up, he says that he hopes the tears of her eyes do not depict her regret in marrying shiv, to which she vehemently says no much to shiv’s relief. He tells her that his family is watching the marriage video downstairs and he’s looking wuite handsome, as the videographer had quite some shots of him since she was looking down all the while in shyness. he also says that much to his amazement, he found the marriage rituals much more interesting than he had thought. He says that she too muct be tired since she had to perform double rituals than him. She says that she didnt get tired since she wasnt doing any real work. and actually find it quite enjoyable to do all the rituals understanding thir importance. They also talk about the cm’s gift. He then offers that both should change and get some rest. sensing her confusion, he suggests that he would change in the bathroom and wait till she’s done in the room. and calls out to him.
While shiv gets his clothes to change, alarms and weird romantic songs as alarm tones start ringing one by one. Anandi and shiv frantically search for them. shiv understanding that mahi is behind this is frustrated and embarassed too to face this with anandi, who is herself shy. But she says that as the brother in law, its his right to joke with them like that. He comments that now he would not give him the bike as he had promised. Just then, mahi, sanchi and her friends come in to tease them about playing watch-watch. Sensing shiv getting angry, they all flee from there, while anandi cant stop laughing. Shiv thinks to himself that for a smile like this, he would give anything in the world. He closes back the door and they are again disturbed by alram sounds. Finally after much frantic searching, they grab hold of all the alrams and set them off. He finally leaves to change.

dadisa with anandi’s photo in her hands thinking that she had thought that anandi would give her a great grand son but the goddess didnt wish that nor was it written in jagdish’s destiny who didnt realise her worth. She blesses anandi to stay happy always and also keep her new family happy. She thinks that even if she wont give her a paternal great grandchild, she would always be a maternal great grandmother to anandi’s child. But she poses a question that why is bhairo being punished for jagiya’s mistakes, that his generation would stop at jagiya. how would she be able to help bhairo keep his name and heredity alive.

shiv after having called out a couple of times and not getting a response, wonders about anandi. He cautiously opens the door warning that he’s coming in the room and finds that anandi has already dozed off. He comes by her bedside and is about to caress her when he stops himself and instead just straightens the strand of her hair. He is mesmerized and sitting beside her on the bed wonders to himself that he wishes time would stop somehow and he always is like this gazing at this beuatiful face that changed his life completely by filling up the void in his life for a lifetime. he is interrupted by the alarm starting again. He rushes to close it. Just then others start ringing too. He notices that anandi is unfazed by the larms ringing and sleeping fast. He places the alarms and sets them all on by her bedside and makes a video of hers in his mobile. Then he sits on the sofa and keeps gazing at her while she sleeps.
