Location: Jaitsar hospital
when basant and bhairo go to lal singh to discuss their problem, lal singh gives them the hope that basant can still sire a child at his age, due to medical discoveries and suggests the idea of artificial insemination. while they are happy at this prospect, Basant has a doubt if this would not hamper gehna’s health in any way. Lal singh says its not expected but he still wants to conduct some tests on both of them and also suggests that he should bring gehna next time so that they can understand the procedure together. The nurse announces an emergency for which lal singh leaves.
when he’s gone, basant says that even though bhairo is younger to him, he still doesnt know how to thank him for this great benefit on him. Bhairo says that he too has the vested interest of having a nephew from him, so that he can take out all his revenge on him by making his son learn all the tricks and mischief. They have a good laugh over it.
Location: Udaipur haveli
Anandi, shiv and his family return from the temple and are relaxing when nathu gets water for them. Ira tells anandi to freshen up. she offers to help nathu with the dinner but he vehemently refuses. Then she is sent off to her room. Shiv tries to follow but alok teasingly holds him back.
in her room, anandi finds it decorated with hearts and is nervous remembering shiv’s romantic expectations from the night. She also remembers how she had submitted herself to jagiya and their intimate moments together and is uneasy.
Downstairs, ira is pestering sanchi to put on the marriage cd in the player. alok comes in and asks the tv to be put on for the match. sanchi favours that over the prospect of watching tv. But ira and meenu put their foot down saying that the match can be watched in dadaji’s room too. and that he shouldnt stop them from watching the video since he has watched it himself. alok finally gives in saying that he cant win over ladies and asks the video to be put. Sanchi wonders what is so thrilling in that video cd that all are gaga over it. Nathu too arrives to watch the wedding cd. Anandi too is called by ira to sit and watch with them. she offers again to help with the dinner and is again refused by nathu.
At the dining table, shiv hurriedly finishes the dinner, seeing which ira and meenu ask him the reason for his hurry and choking unnecessarily, but he says he’s finished with hes food and rushes to his room. Ira asks anandi to finish her food nicely. Anandi is reminded of what shiv said about the night.
Shiv reaches his room and closes the door behind him. he then gets on to prepare the room and arrange it for making this the most memorable romaantic night of his life with anandi. finally satisfied with the ambience, he has a smile on his face.
Anandi, preoccupied with nervousness is cleaning the dining table and takes the dishes to the kitchen where nathu takes it from her and asks her to rest. Ira too comes in and asks her to go and rest in her room. She also tells nathu to finsh up his work.
when anandi is approaching the room, she sees shiv smiling and waiting for her, lost in his thoughts. she cautiously goes upto the room. She is about to knock when she again remembers shiv’s romantic behaviour and refrains thinking that she wont be able to do this.

seeing gehna come in the room with water, basant tells gehna to come to hima nd tells her about his talks with bhairo and lal and also tells her of the possibility of having their own child. gehna is overjoyed but basant tells her that they have to undergo some tests first to be able to determine their condition to which she readily agrees. She then raises a doubt of talking about this with dadisa. Basant says that they wouldnt need to talk to her at all if the tests come out alright as they would then straight away give her the good news. Basant decides to book an appointment in a couple of days. They both think that dadisa in fact would be more happy to hear this.
Location: On a stranded road
Jagiya is walking on the road thinking about his entire relationship with anandi and its different shades.He thinks from the time, he was blissfully happy till he fell in love with gauri and started torturing her till she finally patched things with him on the eve of his marriage. Jagiya in front of the bonfire, is in tears thinking of his past when a woman carrying a child in her arms collides with him Jagiya is shocked and the lady looks scared and seems to have been running away from someone. Jagiya also notices some burns on her hands. she tells jagiya to stay
away from him.
Location: Udaipur and haveli
Standing outisde their room, anandi is very scared and runs away from there and comes in the study room, and remembers sumitra’s words of advice on her wedding eve. She calls up sumitra thinking, she would understand.
Location: By the bonfire
Jagiya remembers lal singh’s words about sumitra’s declining health. He calls up at the landline. dadisa picks up, but he doesnt respond to her voice. Dadisa gets frustrated as to who has called and not speaking. then she understands its jagiya and addresses him dearly. But jagiya cancels the phone. dadisa rues that he could atleast call her dadisa once so that she’s at peace.

Anandi is upset that she’s not getting through her phone with her family. She is firm that she wont be able to face shiv in the room. Meanwhile shiv starts searching for anandi in the house. Finding the study room open, he goes inside and finds anandi sitting with her head on the table. He wonders what is she doing here. Anandi, knowing of his presence, feigns to sleep. He picks her up and takes her to the room. Shiv puts anandi, who has fallen off to sleep, on the bed and keeps gazing at her smilingly. She keeps pretending to be asleep. While he tries to stand up, her jewellery is stuck in his tshirt. anandi squirms but doesnt open her eyes. He makes her lie down straight on the bed and pulls the blanket over her while she doesnt respond. He looks around the arrangement in the room with a sense of disappointment. She opens her eyes to find him making his bed and closes when he comes to the bed. In bed, he thinks about his romantic confession to anandi about their night together. He blows off the candle and goes to bed. Then anandi opens her eyes and is hurt seeing shiv’s disappointment and a tear escapes her eyes.
Location: On a straded road
Jagiya, beside the bonfire thinks about his fights with anandi and their strained relationship and how she patched up with him finally. He thinks that this birth is too small for the penance that he deserves to have tortured anandi so much.A woman comes running out of the road, carrying a child in her hand and collides with her. He is shocked and she too is scared. He notices the wounds on her hand. Jagiya tries to attend to her wounds saying that he’s a doctor. She scares her away with the burning log in her hand. He retorts back saying that he was just trying to help her. She says that she doesnt want anybody’s help and that he should not try to get anywhere near her, or else she will burn him. And then throwing the log, runs off from there. Soon some villagers follow, talking about that girl describing her. Jagiya asks who is she. One of them say that she is a mad woman who has run away taking his child. Jagiya shows them the way and they run behind her and finally catch up on her. She screams to try and get out of her grip. They take her child while she keeps screaming at them to give it back to her. Jagiya too sees this but doesnt say anything. they take the girl into the jeep and drive off. The girl looks back with rage at jagiya.

Next morning, anandi wakes up to find shiv gone from the room. She remembers the last night and is tensed.
Outside nathu and mahi are playing cricket. Ira, meenu and alok are tending to dadaji’s garden. ananadi arrives. Meenu and ira tell her to have breakfast and get ready since they have to go for a picning together. Ira tells that shiv has gone for jogging and would be back soon. Nathu tries to stop anandi from serving, but she does it nevertheless saying that she listened to him yesterday, now its his turn. Ira calls up the others for breakfast. Sanchi, seeing anandi is as usual upset. Shiv too arrives and is asked to join at the breakfast table. There, mahi tries to discuss the location of the picnic. but shiv changes the topic and talks to anandi instead that he has misplaced a file in the room and leaves, beckoning her to follow him, to help search the file.
