Location: Jaitsar haveli
Shiv comes inside and tries to salvage the situation by pacifying them that they would come again for the ceremony, and its good since it would give them a chance to visit again. Anandi’s family agrees seeing no other option. Meenu and ira get up to leave. Shiv takes them outside. Dadisa laments that she knew someday anandi would know about this, but didnt think it wopuld happen today. she says that what happened was wrong.
Location: Ratan Singh’s haveli
Meanwhile in ratan singh’s haveli, ratan sees ganga talking to her son and is aroused with desires. Ganga is scared to find him and says that she would send their son to his room when asleep. ratan says he didnt come for that. ganga asks what he wants. He, in drunken state, forces himself on ganga, holding her by the shoulders, despite her protests, trying to lewdly propose that if she satisfies him sexually, then he could reconsider her situation in the house. And could also make her feel important. Ganga protests to leave him. Just then, his second wife walks in and demands to know what is he doing there. Ratan is tensed. He changes his tome and starts reprimanding ganga for putting their child to sleep faster. He goes over to his second wife and takes him outside while ganga is scared.

Anandi remembers her confrontation today, and all the phone calls when she couldnt find out the pain in her family’s voice and is highly disturbed. Shiv finds her in tears and goes to hold her, but refrains remembering his promise not to touch her. He calls out to her and she hugs him tight seeing him, But shiv doesnt reciprocate. Shiv advises her that she is very lucky to get such a loving family who doesnt want to share their troubles with her so that she doesnt get sad. He also promises that he would get jagdish back to them and leave no stone unturned to find him. She releases himself from her embrace and he asks her to freshen up.

Ratan tries to pacify his wife saying that he would get many precious things for her, but she reprimands him for trying to have the best of both worlds, so wanting to go to ganga again. He says that she wouldnt have to worry since, if his will, he would throw her out of the house. She asks, then why she is still in the house. He says that when their son comes, ganga would be thrown out of the house, but they need her yet to take care of their son. And then fulfills his desires with her, not getting ganga to do it.

Makhan comes to the house for giving newspaper to their house send by dadisa. shiv remembers that he was talking to her about that and dadisa send it to them. Meenu appreciates anandi’s family for taking care of such petty little things. She says that she would have to learn from her family on how to treat their daughter and her in laws’ house, when they marry off sanchi and get their chance to do the same that her family is doing for anandi. Anandi smiles at meenu.
Location: On the road in laxmibhag village.
After treating a ptient in the village, jagiya finds gauri walking on the road. He confronts her, despite her trying to avoid him. He asks her if she follows the medical advises that he gave her. when she doesnt reply satisfactorily, he confronts her and asking about her health, gives her medicine herself. He reprimands her for being so scared of her husband, and by bearing it she is promoting it and giving monsters like ratan to flourish. She says that she has tried to raise her voice, but to no vain. Had she been alone, she would have thought differently, but due to her son, she couldnt. jagiya advises her saying that for her son only, she would have to raise her voice for the betterment of her son and herself and raise her voice against ratan and other such people who are guilty of domestic violence. She says that she doesnt need anybody’s advice as she knows what she has to do to deal with something like this in her life. He tries to give her his phone no, but she says that the only help that he can do of her is to stay away from her life and leave her alone. As she walks away, jagiya is puzzled.

Findind a button missing on shiv’s shirt, she offers to stitch it to his shirt, and shiv finds this proximity to her surprisingly pleasant. Their spell is brokn by meenu’s voice calling out to her. She leaves, and shiv thinks that he knows she wants to come close to him, and is searching for reasons for it but is stopped by something and he is determined that he would help her so that she can come to him by her own personal wishes and feel completely comfortable in his proximity.
