Astha and Shlok doing the puja. Astha looks at her mangalsutra. Shlok does the tilak to Astha. Aditi gets jealous seeing them. Astha also applies a tilak to him. Anjali does the same rituals with Niranjan. Also, Varad and Sojal. Everyone pray. Astha does the aarti. Niranjan asks Shlok to take blessings from Lord to bless them for a new start and a new life. Astha thinks this is her last day with Shlok.
Anjali asks Shlok to give a jewellery set to Astha and gives one to Sojal. Sojal is happy to get it and asks for whom is this third box. Anjali gives it to Aditi doing her tilak. Niranjan asks Aditi to accept it. Aditi takes it and thanks her. Sojal tells Astha would have not felt good seeing this. She says tomorrow you will be going after the divorce. Shlok and Astha look at each other. Anjali scolds Sojal and asks her to go and bring the prasad. Aditi looks at Astha.
Ajju talks to Kalindi and wishes this new year is auspicious for them. Kalindi says yes, Astha will be coming back to us after the last hearing at the court tomorrow, everything will be fine. She tells that Astha can’t be happy in that house ever. Sid comes to Jyoti and tells her that its Gudi padawa today and asks her to come with him. She does the rituals and he looks at her. She does the aarti and they pray. Sid says I m feeling hungry. Jyoti is about to apply sindoor to herself and stops thinking she will never look back at her past again and start a new life.
Astha cries looking at Shlok’s photo. Shlok comes and sees her crying. She hides the photo under the pillow and leaves. He tries to see under the pillow and she comes back to stop him. He still checks it and finds that its his photo. She says I m sorry for hiding this photo from you, atleast I can take this with me, don’t know whether I will be able to meet you again or not. Shlok gives her the photo. She takes it. Saiyyan ve ab raasta dikhade tu……………plays…………….. Astha thinks she will never be happy without him, but she knows her presence hurts him, so she does not want to become the reason of his pain.
Astha gets ready to go to the court and looks at her mangalsutra. She says I m wearing this for the last time, then this relation won’t be there. Kalindi calls Astha and says we are leaving for the court. Astha says I need your support, I will come home holding your hand. Shlok comes to Astha and she looks at him. Astha says I m ready, it won’t be late because of me. He says everyone are waiting. She says I want to say something, if you got hurt because of me, please forgive me. She says its a matter of few hours, then you won’t have any tension.
Varad asks Kaka to get ready for the court. Kaka says I know, but what is in the fate of this house. Niranjan hears them talking. Varad says I felt everything will be fine, but this divorce, I don’t want this relation to break, I know only Astha can take care of Shlok, don’t know what will happen in the court. Astha comes to Niranjan and says forgive me. Niranjan says its not your mistake. Astha says no, I did a mistake, I was right and Aditi wrong, but my way to prove myself was wrong, I know I have hurt you a lot, I could not stop myself, you regard me your daughter, won’t you forgive me. Niranjan says I want you to decide about your family and happiness.
Astha asks him to bless her. He blesses her. She leaves. The judge asks Astha whether she wants the divorce. Astha looks at Shlok. The judge asks do you still want to take the divorce. The judge asks repeatedly as Astha stays silent. Everyone are waiting outside for Astha and Shlok to come out. Kalindi prays Bappa to help Astha take the right decision of taking the divorce. Astha and Shlok come out. Everyone look at them. Kalindi asks Astha what happened. Niranjan asks Shlok what happened. Everyone get tensed for an answer. Astha and Shlok are silent. They ask them again. Astha thinks she refused for the divorce as she loves Shlok a lot and she wants to stay with him in this relation.
Shlok was surprised hearing that. Shlok says even I don’t want divorce. Iss pyaar ko kya naam doon………………..plays……………… Everyone are shocked hearing this. Aditi gets angry. Kaka, Varad and Niranjan are happy. Niranjan hugs Shlok happily.
Kalindi taking Astha with her. Aditi looks on. Jyoti says I don’t think I can work in call centre, I will see any teaching job. She sees the newspapers and says my degree and all certificates are with Abhay, its 6 months over for Astha and Shlok’s divorce hearing, Bappa please keep them together, I have seen love in their eyes. Kalindi asks Astha why she did this, knowing she will never be happy in that house. Astha says I took this decision by heart, I have seen love for me in Shlok’s eyes. She says you taught me to value relations, don’t stop me, let me go with Shlok. She says I m going to start my relation from a new point with new mindset, trust me, I will be happy there.
Everyone looks on. Anjali goes to Astha and says lets go now. Astha goes with her. Kalindi feels worried. Niranjan smiles happily. The Agnihotris leave with Shlok and Astha. Avdhoot says we should be proud of our daughter, she gave a new chance to her relation. Aditi hears this and gets angry.
Shlok and Astha are on the way back home. They have an eyelock in the car. Iss dil ka ab kya karun……………… plays……………..Kalindi comes home and tells Ajju that Astha did not come, she will never come now. Ajju asks Kalindi to get proud of Astha, she took the right decision, every relation has problems and fights, it does not mean a couple should be separated. Ajju says we are responsible for taking them to court. Ajju says she gave a chance to her relation, only because she knows we all are with her. Kalindi says yes, I want to become Astha’s strength, maybe I was wrong, I will go to her and tell her that I agree with her decision.
Shlok and Astha come home. Shlok walks to his room. Anjali and everyone come after them. Astha says I…. Anjali walks away. Sojal says don;’t try to talk to me, I don’t have time for you. Aditi says so sad Astha, you came back in this house, but I don’t think anyone is happy, you bear insult well. Aditi says no one wants you back in this house, why don’t you go from here. Astha says I love Shlok, I don’t care what everyone thinks about me, this is my family and its my duty to protect it, I know you love no one.
She says I would have gone from here, but I changed my decision as I heard you talking. The scene goes back where Aditi talks on phone — I have seen pain in Shlok’s life as Astha is leaving him, I will win atlast, I m sure, I will win when I will make Shlok beg for his death. Astha hears this. Astha says I thought I should not leave my work of kicking you out of this house, be ready to play the game. Astha leaves. Aditi gets a verbal slap on her face.
Sojal gets a call from her mum. She tells her that she is left alone and misses her a lot. She tells Astha changed her decision and will stay here. She says don’t know what happened that she changed her decision. Varad comes and takes the phone from her. She says Astha did the right thing by not taking the divorce, she saved our family respect, you should praise her but you are b*t*hing about her. He leaves. Nirranjan comes to his room to sleep and tells Anjali he is very happy with Astha’s decision and she should also forget her mistakes and forgive her. Anjali says but her mistakes…….He says don’t you do mistakes? You do, then punish yourself, every mistake has to be forgiven and repented. Anjali closes the door and stands outside.
Astha sees Anjali outside and comes to her. She asks why are you here, do you need anything. Anjali says I don’t need anything, its my house, I can stand wherever I want, you can’t question me, you and sleep. Astha leaves. Astha comes to her room and says even if I die, I will be with Shlok and one day I will get his love. She falls holding the curtains and Shlok holds her. She looks at him and laughs. Music plays…………….. Shlok thinks why is she laughing so much, did he become mad, mental……. Astha thinks that the wall between them (curtain) have started falling now. Khuda…………….plays………………She continues laughing.
Its morning, Shlok wakes up and sees the curtain fallen. He tries to fix the curtain again. He thinks of Astha saying I love you Shlok. Astha comes back from temple and gives the prasad to Anjali and Sojal. Aditi looks on and smiles. Astha gives her the prasad saying you need it a lot, I have prayed for me and Shlok, so that we get rid of all bad things and we can start a new life with love. Aditi says this can’t happen as I m here. Astha says I m sorry, as it started. Astha comes to Shlok and gives her prasad. She makes him eat the prasad. She asks what are you doing. She takes the curtain and keeps it aside. Aditi looks at them through the window. Astha sees her watching and says now I will be in this room being your wife, and no need for any curtain.
Astha holds Shlok and Aditi is shocked seeing them. She leaves. Astha stops Shlok and says you can’t turn and go. Shlok says stop this kiddish things. He says you did not understand my dad’s point of view. He says I know you won’t understand. Astha holds his hand and says I want to be with you, you wanted to keep me here for your hatred, but I m here because of my love, I feel I have made a place for me in your heart, you did not realize it till now, but I will make you realize.
He takes his hand off and says what you want to do, won’t be done. He says no one can make me do what I don’t want to. He says if you hurt my dad or my family, then you will make yourself away from me. We are in same room, but we are like two sides of a river which walk together but can’t meet. Astha says they meet, I will make us meet. She looks at Shlok sounding confident.
