Charumitra entering Dharma’s chamber and looking through the make up she uses. She sees a liquid and sprays two drops on herself then she applies kajal.at that time Dharma enters and asks her that if she wanted make up she could have asked her she makes Charumitra to sit and combs her hair. Charu tells Dharma why she returned with her son? She stands and tells Dharma that this Sushim is not the Same one you saw 10 years back he is full of tantric powers. He is evil. Dharma tells her that if her son is evil then my son is chand. Charu turns to leave when Bindu enters he compliments on Charu’s beauty while she bends her head in shyness. He then walks over to Dharma and tells her that he likes the colou r on her. Charu looks at them in anger and leaves. Then Bindu tells that he is worried Ashok will not forgive him. He then tells that if You and Ashoka go away I will die. Dharma asks him not to speak like that . he then tells that the citizens have cheered for me after 10 long years . Ashok hears all this standing on the doorway he thinks that I will Embrace after I kill all of my enemies.
Scene 2: kondana hideout
Helena is seen throwing everything she tells that she lost everything. Everything that she had earned after the hard work of 10 long years.
She turns but Siamak holds her hand and tells her that she has not lost everything her grandson is still alive. He tells her that he will not let anyone waste his father’s sacrifice.
Meanwhile the cooking competition starts all the princesses are allotted with different kitchens Kautvaki gears as she doesn’t know how to cook. All princesses are shown looking through their kitchens. Ashok us walking through when he sees kaurvaki struggling to make food he then asks her if she needs helps the then converse which is seen by Anandini. She cooks food that smells good to lure him to her kitchen then they are caught when Ashok is about to eat kheer.
Kaurvaki comes to her kitchen and sees Devi cooking on her behalf then she gets happy . meanwhile Dharma and Charu are checking on the princesses. Dharma comes to Kaurvaki’s kitchen and tells her that she had cooked Adhok’s favorite dish. She then goes out and Devi come soyt of her hideout. Then Did vi tells Kaurvaki to get some madala she goes . Some man enters inside and adds ppisoin to ashok’s favourite dish. It is revealed to be Siamak.Kaurvaki is passing by. She sees Anandini not there in her kitchen so she enters inside and looks around.she thinks to herself whether she has made Ashoka a feast for a time. Or for a year.she leaves and dashes to Sushim outside. He holds her tells her that her kitchen smells really good and she will eat her food first.
Scene 3 : The competition hall
The royal family enters in and Ashok sees kaurvaki. His mind and heart have a fight. Ashok and Sushim go looking at all the food the princesses have made. Sushim doesn’t eat Chanda’s food as it has tulsi on it . Ashok sees Kaurvaki’s food and says that it is his favorite Anandini asks him that will hr not eat her food. He says that he can’t resist and is about to take a bite when Sushim stops him.sushim says that he is the elder one so he will have the first bite. Kaurvaki assures him and feeds him . Ashok looks at them in jealousy. Bindu thinks that the two will never change. Sushim eats the food and feels suffocating he then falls down and his face becomes blue.
Sushim falls down. Ashoka holds him. Charu pushes him away calling him a murderer. Everyone is shocked. Charu cries. I wont let anything happen to you son. Bindu shouts for someone to call Raj Vaid here. Chanda asks Kaurvaki why she did this. If you couldn’t love him then why did you kill him? Kaurvaki denies knowing or doing anything. I don’t know how poison came in the food. Chanda asks her who could do it then. Siamak takes Ashoka’s name. Acharya RG speaks in Ashoka’s favour but Mahamatya says he can. He has opposed every order of Samrat since childhood. We all are witnesses. He had turned into Chand. Siamak makes use of the opportunity and speaks against Ashoka too. Ashoka reminds him it isn’t the nature of Maurya’s to stab at the back. Siamak instead reminds Bindu of his promise. You said in case either Sushim or Ashoka die then you will kill the other surviving son as well. You have to decide now. It is to be seen if a King does his duty today or if a father wont want to see his other son dead after losing one.
Raj Vaid comes just then. He checks Sushim and shakes his head. Everyone is stunned. Charu asks Samrat to do justice. Dharma’s son wont stay alive if anything happens to my son. You said the same thing as a Samrat. Dharma says you cannot do so. I know my son well. He cannot do anything like this. Ashoka is innocent. Bindu says this is what I feared. I felt already that Ashoka will break my trust the moment I will begin to trust him. You have broken your promise but I, Magadh Samrat Bindusar, wont break my promise. I will live up to my words. You have done a disgusting thing. you will be punished for it! You have killed him. You too don’t desrrve to live. He takes out his sword and points it at Ashoka’s neck. Raj Vaid speaks up. Sushim is alive. Everyone heaves a sigh of relief except Siamak.
Raj Vaid shares that the pulse is really low. He is breathing slow. He is still alive though. Mahamatya realises that Sushim’s powers aren’t still over even after tantric’s death. Bindu asks Raj Vaid to do something. I want to see my son alive and breathing. They take Sushim to his room on Bindu and Raj vaid’s orders. Ashoka too goes after them. Chanda begins to go but Acharya RG stops her. Only members of royal family can go there. He leaves. Chanda prays for Sushim. Kaurvaki thinks I never imagined praying for the man who has tortured my Ashoka and his family. Right now I only pray he is safe and alive so my Ashoka can live.
Raj Vaid checks Sushim. He can be saved though it is a tough task. Dharma suggests a solution. Raj Vaid says it can work. She tries to go near Sushim but Charu tells Dharma to stay away from her son. Bindu reasons that right now Sushim’s life is of utmost importance. She stays put. Come what may, I wont let Dharma go near my son! Ashoka too tells his mother to let it be. We will see today what happens. We will see today if either of Samrat Bindu’s sons lives today or not. Siamak calls his thoughts negatives. How can he say so in such a time when his own brother is fighting with death? How can he be so insensitive to his own brother and to his own family? Ashoka speaks of Indians and hints at Siamak which confuses Bindu. What do you mean? Siamak says how I can understand what he means when you yourself don’t understand what he says. Bindu looks at them. Ashoka says I understand your meaning. There is no one in the palace who can understand you. It is natural for you to show love and care towards your beloved father. Bindu asks him what he means. Ashoka tells him to ask Siamak only.
Raj Vaid treats Sushim. If this works then the results will be positive soon. Siamak thinks Sushim should die for God atleast. Ashoka will die as well then. I will be able to fulfil the promise given to my late father then only! Raj Vaid shares that the medicine is working. Sushim gains conscious. He sits up with a start relieving everyone. Charu hugs her son happily. you are alive. Sushim looks at Ashoka. Are you not happy to see me? be patient. Nothing happened to me. No one can do anything to me. Ashoka says I have never been this happy to see you alive before. You don’t deserve to die so easily. I will do the honour. Sushim thinks he lost the chance to kill him today. it will be your biggest mistake. Bindu announces that a judgement will be made on this tomorrow in court. Rajkumari Padmavati should also have valid reasons and proofs or I will punish her too.
Devi reasons that she cooked food. It would have been my mistake. Someone came in your absence. I couldn’t see that person’s face. It is my mistake, not yours. Kaurvaki asks her to remember if she noticed something weird. I find this weird. A member of royal family was tried to killed down through me. I feel someone is trying to harm Ashoka. He used me as the medium. Devi says it is good that Sushim ate it first or Ashoka! Kaurvaki looks at her hands. I have prayed with the same hands all these years for Ashoka’s well being. I have prayed before God asking him only with these hands. I was about to take his life today using the same hands. She picks up a knife but Devi pushes it away. Kaurvaki blames herself for instigating Ashoka using Sushim. I wanted him to eat the food cooked by me first. We would have been separated forever today in this fight. What would he be thinking about me? I asked him to eat the food first. I have to talk to him. There are so many differences between us already, not anymore. I have to talk to him. devi calls out after her but in vain.
Sushim looks at Ashoka as he walks away. when a son like you can go against his father’s orders and can try to kill me then I am anyways evil. I don’t care what father says. Enough of hide and seek! You will die now, brother.
Kaurvaki comes to Ashoka’s room. She notices someone keeping his hand over fire and looks shocked. Punish me. I am the reason of your anger. You escaped death today because of my mistake. She hugs him and cries. I am your culprit. Trust me. I am so happy to see you alive. If anything had happened to you then I wouldn’t have forgiven myself ever. I recognized you in the first meeting only. I realised that you are the one with whom I will spend my entire life.
My ego never let me talk to you first. It kept me away from you. I cannot take it anymore. I gave you many signals but you dint understand. You kept your distance from me. I was upset with you for the same but the incidents prove me that you are doing the right thing by keeping my away from you intentionally. I don’t know who is behind this planning but if you feel that I added poison in your food then I will go away from your life for forever. say something. I want to tell you that I was yours, is yours and will always belong to you. Rest is up to you! She steps back asking him to say something. Give me one sign. Accept me or reject me.
