Ashok is walking on barren land, he is tired and is dizzy because of hot weather, he falls unconscious there, loin(chandraupt Maurya) comes there and revolves around him.
Ashok is brought to Buddhist centre, they treat Ashok, Ashok becomes conscious and ask where i am? one man says we bring injured people here, Ashok ask is my mother here too? Ashok recalls how he had fallen unconscious, he says it was blackout for me, you brought me here? Man nods, Ashok says you had to suffer because of me, Man says it was our luck to serve you, Ashok says it was my luck that you treated me, Man says you have born for great reason, you are not an ordinary kid, Ashok says i am finding my mother, Man says that doesnt supposed to be your mission, he ask servant to give him food.
Bindu is missing Ashok, he recalls how he promised to protect Ashok. Sushim and Charu finds him alone, she sends Sushim to him. Suhim comes to Bindu and says i want to show you something Father, Bindu permits him, Sushim brings out his archery kit and hits arrows on tree in same line then he hits a flower on tree, the flower falls on Bindu’s feet, Binsu is impressed, Sushim says this is for my father, Bindu smiles and hugs him, Charu smiles, Sushim says i have learnt this art and now i am waiting to represent Maurya dynasty in wars, Siamak comes there and says to win wars, its not needed to kill people, the real win is when you dont raise weapon, Siamak greets Bindu, Charu says Noor must have sent him, Sushim says to siamak that you think we can win wars without raising weapon?
siamak says if intention is to win hearts then weapons are not needed, Sushim says this things looks good to listen but its not possible to even win heart without winning over others and to win over others we need power, we bow to God as he is most powerful till people are not afraid of you, till people dont know about your powers then they wont bow to you, Siamak says the heads which bow in fear can go against you but the heads which bow in love can give away their lives for others too, Sushim says this is hypothetical thing, Sushim says tell me one name who can fight for someone else, tell me one name who can put his life in danger for someone, tell me one name who thinks about others than himself, is there anyone? Siamak says yes it is Ashok, Bindu is surprised,
Siamak says Ashok served whole Patliputra when water was manipulated and people loved him, thats why many people came to pray at his mother’s funeral, when he got to know that beast has not been caught, he returned the reward to father, Sushim says Ashok have blinded you too, you have lost sense, Bindu ask Sushim to leave, i want to talk to Siamak in person, Sushim angrily leaves, Bindu calls Siamak and makes him sit beside him, he ask do you like Ashok? Siamak says he was my best friend, Bindu says he was mine friend too, they talk about him, charu fumes seeing them talk.
In Buddhist centre, the teacher is giving lecture that heart is reason for everything, when his heart is happy then he talk good and have peace for whole life, if heart is pure then he dont think about violence, Ashok comes and says this is not true, he says i dont agree to it as my mother always had pure heart, she never hurt anyone but why she have to bear all the pain? why her life is difficult? she always followed path of peace, she thinks that only peace can make people but why her life is in pain? here the one who follows path of peace is called coward, teacher says so you leave the path of peace just because of this? Ashok says i dont know about it. Ashok says to buddhist believers that you call people coward who use violence but i want to ask you if someone tries to hurt my mother then what should i do? i will not think twice to make river of blood flow, teacher is shocked, Ashok leaves. Teacher says let him realize his mistake, this is his journey only.
In court, one Guru says to bindu that my servant(Man) has stolen food from my house, give him punishment so no one steal again, Man says my son was ill, and i was not able to arrange food for he, Prime minister says you could have taken laon from anyone but why did you steal, man says i stole only one Roti as he was very hungry, Bindu recalls how Ashok said that people are forced to steal, one Guru says to Man that you should be ashamed of making your son eat stolen food, Bindu says i give punishment to Guru, Prime minister says but he is not at fault, Bindu says he is at fault only, in his rule, people are forced to steal things which i cant bear, he ask Guru to give coins to Poor ma as punishment, he says Ashok give him coins, all are shocked that Bindu is missing Ashok, Guru gives him coins,
Chanakya says that you took Ashok’s name while talking about justice this shows how much you think of your people that the person who is not here, you are taking his name, this shows you are tired, you have been through alot in past months so i suggest you to go on holiday for some days, Bindu says i am fine, i will handle everything, Chanakya says you are right, you can handle things but if you go on holiday, you will get peace and maybe you will find some old friend of yours who will give you peace which you can use for betterment of people, Bindu thinks and says you are right, Helena says Samrat should leave and that too soon, Bindu says if Mother wants this too then i will leave from here, Chanakya thinks that Helena took my side but why? Helena thinks Chanakya will get answer of this question but it will be late.
Radhagupt comes to Chanakya and says we got to know about soldier who took Dharma from clinic that night, chanakya says Helena is involved in this conspiracy as she accepted my proposal for Bindu, we have to find Nirjara to clear things, if she has betrayed us then i will give her severe punishment, i will not tolerate anything which s against future of Magdh.
Ashoka coming back home and calling out to his mother. He says that she should have been home by now. She left long ago. He thinks that she will be somewhere waiting for him. He will look out. Outside his home, he runs into his old friends who say that the village was dead without Samrat Vanraj. Ashoka says that no issues, I am home now. And my mother is home too. She left for the forest with Bindusara but left for home before he did. She should have been back home by now. His friends say that something is wrong. What if something happened to her. Ashoka yells at them saying that nothing has happened to her. She is fine! The body that was cremated by the king was not my mother. His friends ask him to spill the details.
Bindusara takes blessings from Helena. Helena blesses him with health and success and wishes that he might succeed. Bindusara takes his blessings and makes a move. He addresses Mahamatya saying that should there be any problem governing the empire on my behalf, please take help from Chanakya. Chanakya assures him that the kingdom will be absolutely safe in his absence. The entire empire sees him off.
Late that night, Ashoka is sleeping in his hut when he hears Dharma calling out to him. He wakes up with a jerk and looks around as if searching for his mom. He walks or as he dreams of dharma standing at the door. Dharma disappears as he reaches her. He makes the futile attempt to reunite with his mother but each time she disappears as soon as Ashoka comes closer. At last Ashoka wakes up all alone in his hut. He shouts for his mother.
Helena reaches the balcony of the room and sees some movements. She exclaims that they are here. It’s finally time. Justin reaches the room of Queen Noor. She is resting when he comes near. Noor exclaims that Justin’s emotions take a huge turn every time Bindusara is out on a mission. Justin smiles to her. Suddenly, Noor feels pain in her stomach. She cries. The other queen of doing magic with voodoo. She says that both Sushim and Siamak are inconsequential to the King because of her, she can suffer. Justin freaks out and runs to arrange for a doctor for Noor. One of Chanakya’s men inform him that some movement was observed last night. Chanakya fears that Helena might be behind this.
Helena welcomes the guests to get room. It is her father Seleucus. Helena says that they need to get hold of the empires soon. The Ujjaini kingdom is in desperate need of help. We can get Justin marry the princess and take over the empire. Chanakya reaches Helena’s room but is denied entry. He senses something is wrong.
