Bhairon calling his wife, sumitra telling him about anandi’s engagement, that for a change is a good news, given that the last telephonic conversations that they had were all filled with bad and sad news.he tells sumitra that finally the dream that we had seen for our daughter anandi, haqs been fulfilled and her engagement to shiv has been decided on a date.This will mean a new life and start of a happy period in anandi’s and everybody’s life.Sumitra, due to not having met shiv, much discloses his doubt over his behaviour and personality as his future son in law,to which bhairo dismisses all her doubts saying that shiv is the ideal mate for anandi.He is the only person who can handle anandi with his calm and wit and will provide her with all the happiness that their son jagiya couldnt.Sumitra recoils at the mention of jagiya and says since anandi was alone and deserted after jagiya left, she was as sad and heartbroken as anandi,but put up a brave face so that anandi does not break down.Bhairo assures her that whenever shiv is with anandi, she is very peaceful. We all doubted dadisa’s intentions in the beginning when she proposed shiv for anandi’s marriage.But now in retrospect, they find that her descision was very wise and mature,and not just driven by love for anandi.Sumitra says she lucky to have a mother in law like her,to which bhairo jokes about he being the sole reason for sumitra and her luck rather than dadisa.Wishing each other well and asking to take care of each other,they put down the phone.

Gauri’s friends are teasing her about her second marriage and that with the same guy. To which Gauri replies that when they actually got married it was in such a haste that she couldnt enjoy it properly, but this time she is going to fully enjoy her marriage and that her friends are going to help her do so. In fact her friends already decide on the mehndi wala and the other decorations to be done.Everybody is excited.

Everybody at the breakfast table. shiv having finished his breakfast gets up to go, dadaji immediately enquires about his schedule to which he replies he has to go pick up anandi for a necessary meeting.Dadaji keeps pulling his leg demading that when would he return or he has to seek this information too from anandi. seeing this, shiv realises that his family is going on endlessly pulling his leg due to his concern for anandi.and he walks off smiling.

Everybody from the panchayat at dadisa’s haveli looking troubled so bhairo asks them to straight forward tell them as to what is boggling them.Sarpanch relies saying that the village people treat anandi as their daughter but these days people are seeing that anandi and shiv spend too much of their time together during work hours annd even after sunset and they are beginning to talk ill. to which bhairo reparcates saying that the reason anandi and shiv spend so much time together is for the welfare of jaitsar so that they come up with neww schemes and their effective implementation.Dadisa too joins in the conversation saying that as the daughter of the village and as a person who has spent her entire time in the welfare of the village, anandi has a right to live her life the way she wants to and deserves happiness after having seen so much in her life from such a yung age.Finally she breaks in the news of anandi’s engagement to shiv,having kept it a secret for so long to avoid any bad luck,but having failed at that.Just then shiv walks in and dadsa introduces him as her future son in law and calls for anandi.she comes down the stairs and meets the guests with a stoical face.Gehna too comes in with sweets.The screen freezes on anandi’s face.

Underlying Message: People generally believe hearsay and do not bother confirming their doubts by seeing for themselves and the vice versa. This is the baseless base for all rumours.

Shiv’s family is discussing that they have asked anandi to come along with them to jaipur for their engagement ring selection.Shiv expresses his doubts about Anandi’s will to go and the need to go so far when they could do the shopping in jaitsar itself. But iravati explains that its necessary for them to spend some time alone together for themselves and not just on the situations concerning jaitsar.Alok then goes on to recall his similar incident with iravati and how they found alone time for each other.And iravati asks everyone to get ready.Everybody disperses but choti maa stays behind and voices her concern regarding anandi’s behaviour towards shiv and enquires if he really is happy to which shiv silences her doubts saying that anandi’s failed first marriage and then her mother’s death have shaaken her bad but she would soon be back to normal.so there’s no need for worrying.And goes out.choti maa is still wondering about the whole situation.

Everyone is ready next morning for leaving for jaipur.Dadaji asks anandi to sit in front with shiv, but sensing her discomfort and on iravati’s signal takes it back.They proceed on their journey,where shiv is at times distracted by anandi in the rearview mirror and doesnt notice a road bump,and is reprimanded by dadaji for the same.

Jagat comes back and sees gauri applying mehendi and asks what is the occassion to which gauri evades the question.jagat enquires about her work to which she replies saying that she has taken a few days leave to be with her mother.Jagat sees a box lying and is reminded of bade papa and enquires gauri about his coming. she evades that question too making up an excuse that he had called and postponed his program since he had to go to kolkata.Jgat leaves,gauri expresses her concern to her mother in solitude about hiding bade papa’s truth from jagat to which her mother prays that the truth should hopefully never come out.

Dadaji comes up with a novel idea that they should let shiv and anandi each select their own rings separately so that it is a test if shiv understands anandi and her choices or not.And as expected shiv selects the same ring that anandi wants for herself.Everybody is happy. Just then dadji is stuck with a ring in his hand but anandi is able to let it slip out by appluing oil on his finger.When dadji jokes about the incident,anandi smiles and shiv is very happy to see that.

Gauri since she has hennna on her hands requests jagat to feed her ,he obliger her and they share a romantic moment with gauri wondering that she and jagat are going to start a new life tomorrow without any more troubles or fights
