The house is full of laughter & music. Rohini comes & takes Tappu for dance. All enjoy watching them dancing on the traditional songs. Meethi is looking very beautiful & happy. Tappu asks Divya to join in who refuses at first but then takes Damini with them too. Rohini brings in Surabhi. All five of them dance while the others look at them & relish their dance.
Tappu goes to Iccha & asks her to put mehendi on Meethi’s hands. Iccha says that she doesn’t know how to apply mehendi and Tappu is the one who is very good in that. Tappu comments that when Vishnu will come & see Meethi’s hands, he will love it & will never let go of her hands from his. Tej looks around and wonders how long will have to wait for her. When will she come? Nani too looks at the watch and is worried why Mukku isn’t back yet.
Mukta in the bus. She looks at her watch and is worried that Meethi’s mehendi would have begun by now…how will she get ready now? She says that she seriously dint want any hindrance in her life but rather wants that her mehendi’s colour comes out to be as dark as possible. She just wants that she gets a good human being for herself.
Surabhi leaves Kanha’s side & goes to call Vishnu. Surabhi calls Vishnu and says, Mukta hasn’t come back yet. Vishnu says, that’s good… she was disappointed there as well… and even at home, she will be welcomed in such a way that she will get really scared before even thinking about me! Surabhi smiles in victory & disconnects the phone.
While Tappu is doing Meethi’s mehendi, Iccha prays that nobody should cast an evil eye on her. Surabhi joins Kanha. Veer speaks to Baba that how he wishes Yuvi would have been here today…it would have been double celebrations now. Umed agrees that yes, he feels the same. But God gives us from one hand and takes from another or we would have been deprived of seeing Meethi so happy today. Jogi joins their conversation. He says that Umed Singh ji, because of all these differences between our families; we have been deprived of one more thing – our friendship! Its been a very long time but now its all in the past. Both smile and share a hug.
Nani looks at Tappu and is thinking why is Tappu showering so much love on this Meethi? Tappu asks Ichki to sit too & get mehendi done in her hands as she is the mother of the bride. Veer looks on happily. Rohini is very excited to get her hands done with mehendi. She compliments that just like their daughter’s hands have been done in Vishnu’s name, your hands mehendi has Veer in them. Umed Singh & Jogi smile listening to it.
Tappu tells Divya how beautiful is Meethi looking. She looks at Nani who was standing all alone & goes to her. She asks her why is she here and not enjoying it? Nani says, Ram hi Rakhey, I don’t know how to put on a fake smile. What I have in my heart, shows at my face. Tappu asks what? Nani shares that she has done enough for Iccha, she is back with her family now & everything is good for them, so why is she showering all her love & jewellery on Meethi. She has to remember that she herself has a daughter, Mukta. You must think about her.
Tappu very passionately replies that I wish I could giveback Iccha what all I have taken away from her. I can never make up for the mistakes I have done in the past & whatever I do, it will be less only. How she wishes she could forsake herself for Iccha. She can never forget how much she is indebted to Iccha. Nani tries to protest but Tappu makes her promise that if you love me then please for once try to take out all the bitterness from your heart against them & bless them for once. Please for me. Nani says ok…Tappu is elated & happily calls her gulabjamun!
Veer says to his Baba that wish Mai was here too. At the same moment, Mai comes there. She goes to Meethi & asks if she can give Shagun to her granddaughter? Meethi looks at Iccha who nods her head in approval. Meethi says yes! Mai comes & gives her their ancestral jewellery. All are nervous. She blesses her and then asks her if she can have answer to one question? She just came to know that since morning you have been worried about your dress….you could have told me. Being a Bundela its not good to ask someone for anything. It doesn’t suit us at all. No one is happy to hear her speak like this. She continues with her sarcasms & comments that its all about intentions. After all a mother will only try to hide the wrong doings of her daughter.
Iccha tries to make light of the situation & says that it is Maasi’s right…Mukku will be back soon, she would definitely be stuck somewhere. Mai cuts her in mid sentence & mocks her that she isn’t as great as her to think this way. Once it was Tapasya who took away your wedding dress & husband from you, now its her daughter’s turn.
Umed Singh angrily says Gunwanti, today is Meethi’s mehendi…what happiness do you get in putting salt on our old wounds. She asks them all to think whatever they want to..she doesn’t care about what they think. She storms off from there angrily. All are disturbed after heaing her. Tappu asks Divya, Ma, where is Mukta?
Iccha asks Kanha if he got to know anything. Kanha replies that he had spoken to Anita. She told him that Mukta dint come to college today. Jogi & Nani hear it. Nani wonders where will Mukku be. Tappu asks Damini if Mukta comes this late every day. Damini assures that that is not the case & she comes on time daily. Mukta enters Bundela House. All hurriedly go towards her. She is also worried thinking how she will explain her reason for being late.
Mai too comes out to see it for herself. Jogi asks Mukta where was she. Iccha repeats that they have all been very worried about her. Mukku is about to speak when Mai interrupts her and says that what did I say? I told you that she will not be back before the mehendi ceremony. She asks Tapasya is she was not right. She also says that she is sure Mukta still doesn’t have Meethi’s choli with her. Am I right? Mukta again tries to speak but Mai cuts her off. She taunts Tappu that her daughter is following her footsteps. She makes fun of them that she must keep quiet or her family members will again say that she is speaking too much. She leaves after doing all drama & Umed Singh is really angry at her.
Iccha again asks Mukta if she is alright & where was she as they all have been worried about her. Mukta mutters Ma, she was in college. Jogi shouts that she is lying. She dint went to college today. Mukta is speechless now & doesn’t know what to say. Divya speaks up that she had the responsibility to bring Meethi’s dress & you are reaching now. Mukku tells her that the shop was closed when she went there to fetch the dress. Jogi replies that the shop closes at 8pm & where was she before that.
We believed you that you will reach on time, why then are you lying now? Do you realise how your absence has been misunderstood? She tries to tell him that she had a very important work to do. Jogi demands to know what was it? Mukta is at a loss of words. She asks him to trust her that she isn’t lying. Iccha asks them to forget it all as its over now. Veer too asks Thakur Sahab that it is not the right time to discuss all this. They should be happy that their daughter has returned home safely. Tapasya who was silently listening to it all and getting angry too asks Mukta why is she not looking in their eyes & speaking up. Mukta says Ma?
Tappu comes to Mukta and again asks her where she was. Iccha asks Tappu to calm down as she has just come back. Tappu tells Iccha that today a mother daughter will speak & she doesn’t want anyone else to speak in between them. She asks Ammo to take Iccha to her room who does so. Veer, Kanha, baba, kasha kaka too leave from there.
Tappu repeats her question for Mukta. Mukku asks her to believe her and that she really had a very important work. Tappu is crying now and tells her why should I believe you, just because I am your mother? Tell me the truth. Mukku begs her to atleast hear her once. Tappu takes her hands off from Mukta’s. Mukta says Ma, I’m saying the truth. It was really important. Tappu still doesn’t believe her & shouts at her that she is still lying.
