He then asks her about the new guest. She tells him that he is Rathore, Mukta’s father. He is a very dangerous man. He is pissed off that he had to come today only. Forget him for now and think what will happen if real Vishnu comes.
Here Rathore & Mukta are discussing that the situation is very delicate now. They have to find the real Vishnu asap anyhow.
Akash tells Surabhi that they cant afford to commit any mistake now. They have to find the real Vishnu soon. She agrees saying otherwise their revenge will be incomplete. Whatever they have done so far will become futile. Vishnu says, Maiyya always says to finish the work before the day ends. I will take out all the thorns out of my way by the time the day ends. She tells him to do it asap as there’s no time left.
Rathore assures Mukta that truth always prevails. She objects that they have very little time left. Only 24 hours. He replies that normal people call it 24 hours but we Rathores call in 1440 minutes. They both smile now.
Iccha says to Tappu that she is very happy to see Mr. Rathore. She asks, you have done so much for my happiness. Now what about you? When are you going to leave Tej Singh. Tappu asks her not to talk of these things when everyone is so happy. She says ok, she wont. But after Meethi’s marriage, I want you to stay happily with your husband and your daughter. Just like me. Tappu and Iccha go to serve everything sweets (kheer I guess).
Tappu shyly looks at Rathore who is now keenly studying Akash’s face & watching his reactions. Tappu gives him the bowl and shares that she is glad that he came here. He says, how I could not as you are here. Plus, its Iccha’s daughter marriage and with such a nice guy – Vishnu. he compliments Vishnu on his name who just smiles.
Jogi gives Meethi & Akash their wedding gift. Meethi is excited to see plane tickets for Switzerland. Jogi tells her that its Mukta’s choice. Meethi thanks Mukta. All look at her appreciatively. Meethi is excited about snowfall & that it would be so much fun.
Rathore notices Akash’s expressions. Akash is thinking we will see where you go….to Switzerland’s snowy mountains or my village’s broken roads. Meethi asks him what is he thinking and he says nothing.
Veer becomes sad that he has only one day left to spend with his daughter now. Meethi tells him that she’ll be back in a few days. Akash thinks you don’t know how far you will go.
Veer & Iccha give Vishnu their wedding gift now. It’s a company’s flat that too nearby Bundela House only. Akash asks whats the need for it. Veer says that it is our need not yours. We want you to stay near to us so that we can come and meet anytime we want. Akash – you don’t know she will be where….near her home or very very far.
Rathore asks Akash, what happened dear would be son-in-law. You look like you are busy in some deep thought of yous. Akash declines. Rathore says, I have heard a lot about you. You are a man of great self respect. You hesitate in taking the gift. You want to quick success and want to touch the sky. Akash! (hindi name for sky)
Akash starts coughing now & Iccha helps him with water. Rathore nods to Mukta & signals yes.
Akash replies to Rathore, no sir. The sky is far away. I try my best to stay near the earth.
Mukta comes & sit next to Rathore. They both pat each other’s hand & assure each other. Veer says see our son-in-law is so quick with his answers.
Jogi & the rest of the family excuses themselves & all bid goodbyes & leave for their home.
Rathore tells Tappu that he wants to speak to her alone. She looks around and then nods in a yes.
Rathore says, you should have believed your daughter when everyone else wasn’t.
Tappu says its not about belief. Everyone was saying something about it. Even Gunwanti ji got one more chance to taunt me.
Rathore gets angry & says he is least of all interested to listen anything that she says or thinks. What everyone thinks, we don’t have to think the same.
Tappu replies…it doesn’t matter to me as well what others say. But it broke me when Meethi said the same thing. I have seen the fear in her eyes…(flashback of the mehendi night). Meethi too thinks that Mukta wants to snatch Vishnu from her; she likes him & wants to marry him too.
Rathore exclaims that it is the same Mukta who was ready to give up everything, even her life for Iccha.I don’t want to take any names or point out anything to you.
Rathore repeats that if she could do anything for Iccha then why not for Iccha’s daughter.
Tappu agrees…her heart says the same thing. I believe Mukta too. But there are so many other people in the house…..papa’s bowed head, ma’s pain. I can feel it. I stayed away from everyone for 19 years because I dint want the same fate for my daughter. I dint want her to become like me & repeat the same mistakes that I did back then. But today Gunwanti ji said like mother like daughter. She said so many things. You don’t know what all i have heard. She wipes her tears.
Then she says, but I know that my daughter isn’t like that. But its just a matter of some days now. Everything will be fine after Meethi’s marriage.
Rathore interrupts her that she is getting married to the wrong person. No one will get happiness out of this lie. No one. Tappu is alarmed now. Rathore repeats that this is for the family only. He cant stay quiet.
