Vishnu talking to Icha/Damini. Icha/Damini say yes to his proposal to Meethi and they’re all happy.
Nani listening to all this gets worried that Makkhi is one year younger than Mukta and her marriage already get fixed… once before, the same thing happened in this house and now histroy is repeating.
Icha wants to bring sweets but Vishnu stops her and says I got your blessings, that’s enough. Damini says, please keep my Meethi happy.
Vishnu says, I promise you, I will give Meethi everything she deserves (I smell something fishy here!). Whatever I got from Teacher didi I will return it all.
Icha says, all the best, stay happy.
Gunwanti holding the medicine bottle in her hands and remembering mixing the medicine in the past. Umed comes and asks since Veer came back from the hospital he looks worried.
Gunwanti says, it’s because of Tapasya.
Umed says, why Tapasya?
Gunwanti says, she keeps telling him false things…
Umed asks what false things?
Gunwanti says, I don’t know what she’s saying but I saw her in Veer’s room a couple of times. I also forgot to tell you that she was instigating Amla too.. and wanted her to take divorce.
Umed gets shocked – divorce? You hid such a big thing from me?
Gunwanti has a flashback of leaving Amla in that far-away place and then telling her to come back to her senses. She tells Umed, don’t worry, I made Amla understand, she won’t make this mistake again… we can’t stay with Veer all the time, what should we do about this Tapasya? Can I ask you something?? We’ve already given half the property to Tej, can’t we kick him out of the house now?
Umed says, no Gunwanti, now he won’t leave this house ever… a greedy person’s greed never gets finished.
Gunwanti says, that means we won’t get rid of Tapasya ever?
Tapasya knocks on Chanda’s door, when no one answers she opens the door and no one is in the room. She sees a key in Chanda’s cupboard and goes in the room. She goes and searches the cupboard trying to look for a proof against Chanda and Tej. She finds photographs of jewellery in the cupboard with tick marks on them… she takes those photos and hides them in her sari… as she’s coming out of the room she sees Tej Singh.
Tej asks what are you doing here? Spying?
Tapasya says, why do you always think wrong about me? Why would I spy in my own house? Chanda is my niece by relation so I wanted to check how she’s living, if she has any problems… or maybe someone has had her kidnapped again.
Tapasya starts leaving… Tej says to her back, kidnapping will happen, but not Chanda’s.
Tapasya says, mine?
Tej says no, the wound to someone else, and you will be hurt… that ‘doll’ promised to marry me… my mermaid, my dream girl.
Tapasya says, don’t you dare think about my daughter.
Tej says, stay cool my dreamgirl’s mother… you won’t be able to do anything… I will disappear quietly with her.
Tapasya calls Mukta and asks how she is?
Mukta says, you’re calling so late, are you okay?
Tapasya says, yes I’m okay. She asks when you go to college, do you come back straight home or do you have extra classes etc. I wanted to tell you that if you have extra classes, for a few days just come back straight home without taking those extra classes.
Mukta asks if there’s something to worry about?
Tapasya says, no… it’s just that the circumstances I’m going through… you have to take extra precautions so I thought I should talk to you.
Mukta says, okay mom I will do exactly as you ask me to.
Tapasya says Good Night, look after yourself. We’ll meet again soon.
Veer feeding the fish in the bowl. Gunwanti comes in his room and sees the glass of milk untouched behind Veer’s back.
She comes in and says, I have to make you drink the milk like a child every day… why haven’t you slept yet?
Veer says, Mai I don’t feel like it, why do you make me drink this milk every day…
Gunwanti says, because I want you to get better quickly… now drink it.
Veer drinks the milk.
Gunwanti asks him to go to bed. You keep worrying for no reason.
She puts him on the bed and Gunwanti starts leaving.
Veer says, Mai if I ask you a question, will you answer truthfully?
Gunwanti says, have I ever hidden anything from you?
Veer asks, what happened between me and Icha? Tell me the truth.
Gunwanti says, why are you talking about the past… just let it be.
Veer says, I just want to find out what happened to my memories? I want to know everything.
Gunwanti says, how many times should I tell you that she didn’t deserve to be part of this family.
Veer says, why?
Gunwanti says, she was a servant’s daughter and girls like her don’t have any values… at least not for our family… she only wanted to become a bahu of a big family, she was greedy for wealth… and she wanted to get to you at any cost… but fate wanted something else entirely, and you got married to Tapasya. Don’t know what these two girls had against our family.
Shameless Icha, even after getting widowed, got you involved in her devious plans… you didn’t listen to us and married her. Then Yuvraj was born… then one day, something happened and she left, never to come back again… that time, you had an accident and lost your memory. Why do you remember her Lalla, forget her… she doesn’t deserve us… forget her.
She asks, do you have any other question?
Veer looks at her and shakes his head.
Gunwanti asks him to go to bed and leaves the room turning the light off and the door closed.
Veer comes looks at the fishbowl (kuch khas hai music plays in the background)…
He goes out of the house in the garden.
He starts getting flashbacks from the past… Icha’s face is clear in his memories now…
Veer talks to the sky, he says, you know what the truth is… you’re a witness to each of those tragedies that I’ve been through… each of those tragedies.
He has flashbacks of Icha as a widow sweeping the floor, making food on an old-style stove.
He remembers Icha asking him to let her live her life her way if he wants her to be happy.
He remembers Avinash trying to kill him and Icha stabbing him to death.
He says, I remember everything now… everything… every single moment…
Icha…
He remembers asking Icha her name in Satara and she tells him call me Teacherji.
He says, Icha you came in front of me so many times, you could have told me once that you’re my Icha.
My Icha.
