Lawyer asks Icha what she saw in the hotel room that night?
Icha looks at Yuvraj who smiles a little bit at her and she has a flashback of him trying to molest Mukta.
Lawyer asks her to remember correctly and tell the court what she saw?
Icha looks at Damini and Damini nods her head.
Icha says, that night I saw Yuvraj Singh Bundela trying to rape Mukta Rathore.
Icha cries and stutters but finishes the sentence.
Yuvraj is shocked… Umed is quiet and Gunwanti is disgusted.
Vishnu praying in the Shiv Mandir and Tapasya standing behind him. She’s praying for Mukta that she needs your blessings, she needs strength and courage. Vishnu gives Tapasya the pooja thali.
Meethi comes from behind but they don’t notice each other and Meethi goes forward to pray. Tapasya turns around and walks out to see Rathore standing outside the temple.
She walks up to Rathore and says you have not changed one bit.
Rathore says, you said you had something important to say, can we talk somewhere else?
Both of them start leaving the temple.
Icha crying in the court and says Your Honour whatever statement I gave the police, every word of it is true.
The other lawyer raises objection saying Yuvraj cannot be declared criminal just on the statement of Icha Bharti.
Judge overrules but the lawyer continues and says, note the fact that witness Icha Bharti has stayed under the shelter of Jogi Thakur from childhood till now and Jogi Thakur is Mukta’s Nana.
It may be possible that she’s making all this up just so Mukta’s character cannot be tarnished.
Icha says, would a mother try to involve her daughter in a made-up case?? It’s true that Mukta is like a daughter to me, but Yuvraj is my own son! Yuvraj smirks at this and closes his eyes. Damini/Jogi etc. crying.
Icha says, Yuvraj is my own blood. What more misfortune can it be that a mother has to stand against her own son and witness against him? What can be more unfortunate? She’s crying. So is Yuvraj.
Vishnu gives some prasad to Meethi and Meethi asks him to pray for Mukta’s case. My mom is giving witness in that case.
Vishnu says, it felt good to see you calling her ‘maa’.
Meethi gets upset and says it’s not necessary to take everything I say in the wrong way.
Vishnu says, what did I say? I just called a mom, mom.
Meethi says, me and Mukta are both unfortunate. My mother stays with me but I don’t talk to her and her mother is in the same city but she cannot be with Mukta today. You won’t understand.
Vishnu says I’ll be right back.
Mukta is called to the witness box. Icha goes back to sit with Damini. She’s crying and Jogi/Damini console her.
Lawyer asks Mukta why did she go to the hotel to meet Yuvraj Singh at 8 pm at night. What purpose was there for you to go there?
Mukta says, me and Yuvi study in the same college. We were friends.
Lawyer says, did I hear correctly that you were ‘friends’? Point to be noted me lord. What did a mature, young woman go to a hotel with a ‘friend’ for?
Mukta’s lawyer objects but is overruled.
Lawyer asks Mukta to answer his question.
Mukta says, that evening Yuvraj called me to the hotel.
Lawyer yells at Mukta to tell what happened next.
Mukta says he took me to the third floor then… she is unable to say and starts crying.
Lawyer yells at her again and she says I’m saying the truth.
I tried to get out of that room many times but he stopped me from leaving.
Lawyer says, he must have touched you, tell us where he touched you?
Mukta gets angry and says what do you want to know? You know everything.
She says to the judge, I’m a shareef girl, Your Honour. I thought he was my friend and I went to meet a friend, what’s my fault in this.
Then she ends the statement by saying then the police came and arrested him. She keeps crying saying it’s not my fault. Her family is crying too.
Tapasya says to Rathore, what bad luck… I returned after so many years and I cannot stand with my own daughter in this difficult time to give her courage. I can only pray for her in the temple.
He says, she has everyone with her, your whole family, Ichaji and I’m going too. You said there was something important, so I came here first.
Taps says, I can’t even go to meet Mukta today. Please spend more time with our daughter. She needs us.
Rathore says, I did your job about Chanda. Did she reach home on time?
Taps says, Chanda has reached home and since she’s been back, Tej Singh is panicked. I’m sure he’s planning something against me, but I’m not afraid of that.
What all has changed in all these years. Wish I can turn the wheel of time back and change everything, start my life afresh. I’ve gone away from my loved ones.
Rathore says, this word ‘wish’, I’ve taken it out of my life, you do the same. It doesn’t let you live in peace. He says, Mukta must be waiting for me, I have go to now.
Rathore leaves and Tapasya notices Meethi in the temple.
Tapasya thinks she’s Icha. Meethi sees her and sees the thali in her hands so she wants to go to her. When she says “excuse me”, Tapasya goes away from there.
Judge recesses the court for 1 hour and says the judgment would be done in 1 hour.
Yuvraj comes up to Icha and says “Maa”.
Icha turns around.
He says, you are my mother… Maa, Maa, Maa.

Icha is crying.

Umed scolds him and says “Yuvi”.
