While mahi escorts anandi to the jeep,she stops seeing shiv’s shoes from under the curtain and knows that he is hiding behind them.Mahi notices anandi stopping and gives them some alone time and goes to get the jeep.She says to shiv that she knows he’s upset but with time everything would be alright and he shouldnt worry.He says that whenever he meets and talks to her,he loves her all the more and is very proud of the way she handled sanchi with such calm and patience.She says she too is proud of the way he has kept his promise to dadisa.She also says that what she did was her duty since this is her home too now.She also says that she knows its hard on him to not be able to see her but he is doing it very nicely.Shiv says that he is doing,but almost that he has to do it.She says that she has the fullest faith in him and it is thsi unsaid faith between them that is the binding force of their relationship that would hold them together all their life.She takes his leave,When she’s gone he comes out of the curtainand smiling,thinks to himself that this punishment of forced seperation has made him realise how important it is for him to see her face everyday as his whole life,whole world revolves around that face only.

Shiv goes inside with a tensed face,such that even dadaji joking about giving him a medal for having earned the love of a girl like anandi and also making her the bahu of this house and that they are proud of the way she handled sanchi with such maturity and poise.But shiv is angry at the way sanchi behaved with her and intentionally wanting to hurt her and wants to go talk to her immediately about this but is stopped by meenu and ira too that right now,its in vain to make her understand anything as she’s already angry.they would sit down with her later and make her undrstand everything.Shiv leaves in anger.Dadji tells ira that when she is talking to sanchi,she should also tell her about anandi’s past as he wants everything to be cleared before marriage.

Dadisa on the phone,inviting people for haldi ceremony the next day.Anandi comes in.dadisa asks her how did the jewellery shopping go.She says that shiv’s family almost got the entire jewellery collection for her despite her protests.Dadisa asks her to let them do what they want since this is their first son’s marriage.She also instructs not to go out of the house from now uptil marriage and thaat too she would leave this house,only in her doli.Anandi gets emotional,has tears welled up in her eyes and hugs dadisa and then runs to her room upstairs.Everybody is a little upset but dadisa motions gehna to go to anandi.

Basant is busy with the decorations and other preparations,bhairo watches as gehna talks to anandi and tells her not to cry,Dadisa is supervising the village ladies preparing turmeric for anandi’s haldi ceremony.Whn gehna joins them,she asks if anandi is alright now and she replies in the affirmative.Merriment is full on in the haveli.Bhairo too busy with getting things for the marriage.dadisa asks him if the invitations have been properly sent out.Both bhairo and basant confirm that they have double checked and that she need not worry about anything.Even the Cm would be coming.

sanchi is extremely upset to hear that anandi is a divorcee and says that she dint know shiv cud give her a shock like this.She rebukes them for telling her so late,they might as well have told her after the marriage.Everybody is tensed seeing her reaction.Ira tries to calm her down, but sanchi shuts her saying that the reason they told her intentionally so late was beccause they too knew this was unacceptable.She tells them that she was feeling guilty that maybe she was rude to anandi,and she is after all a good girl,but now she knows that she did nothing wrong in treating her like that.What could shiv possibly be lacking that he had to settle for a divorcee.Dadaji shuts her and tells her that they are fortunate that they have a bahu who considers her in-laws her parents and gives them the same love and respect that she would to her parents.Her in laws too are marrying her off as their daughter.They are lucky to get a girl from such a household.He says that they too care for shiv’s life and happiness and therefore aftre much thought,they too decided that no other girl can keep shiv as happy as anandi.Sanchi mocks them for talking such bookish ideas.she says there would be line of sophisticated smart and beautiful girls for him,but still he settled for a village,divorcee girl.

Alok steps in saying that shiv’s not ordinary and therefore his marriage too would not be,and tells her about the interest that the cm has shown in their marriage and wants to set it as an example to the society by making it a mass marriage so that lots of girls who are widows or estranged from their husbands wholeft them can be given a second chance at life.Sanchi is aghast at the idea of shiv marrying along with other village boys and says that she doesnt approve of it.She turns to ira and tells her that if this is true,why she as his mother is letting it happen.She had dreamed so long of having a smart,beautiful and sophisticated girl as her bhabhi with whom she could go out,chat and be friends.Ira tries to explain that anandi has everything that she looks for in her bhabhi.Sanchi says that she cant even stand the sight of her standing alongside shiv leave alone being friends with her and also she doesnt match up to her standards.Shiv comes in nd says that anandi matches his standards.He has no issues with her being a divorcee,She is a courageous lady,who has faced the truth,and moved ahead in life and established a stand for herself.She definitely should be given the chance to live once again.Sanchi again cunningly says that she really is very smart that she has got everybody under her spell that her weaknesses look like her strengths to them and brands her a drama queen.shiv angrily stops her saying that if she doesnt like anandi,thats not his problm,and that he wont delaay the marriage because of her stupid ego but warns her that he wont stand her saying anything about his wife,who he has immense love and respect for.Sanchi says okay and alos threatens them that since shiv is her role model,therefore she would follow in his footsteps and when they look for a guy for sanchi’s marriage the prerequisite that they should look for is that he should be a divorcee.everybody is shocked.

While everybody is astounded by sanchi’s descision,shiv says that he is ok with it as long as the guy is good and deserves her just like anandi deserved a second chance.If he can keep sanchi happy and is worthy of her,then he doesnt mind.And also,he warns her that if she hurts anandi or doesnt accept her,she is hurting him, tomorrow is th haldi ceremony and the marriage is definitely on,therefore he needs her to be very happy for him and not participate in the rituals with a sullen face.She grumpily agrees and runs inside saying that today,he has made very clear what importance she,her opinion,her likes or dislikes hold for him.

She throws herself on the bed blaming anandi for everything,the way shiv talked to him and the way she has trapeed shiv in her love and taken him away from his single sister.She determines that she would never forgive anandi for this.

While massaging her feet,anandi lovingly scolds dadisa for running around so much when her feet are prone to swelling.She tells her to rest while others are there for prepping up.Khajan who has just arrived,too agrees to what anandi has to say.She is extremely happy to meet him.After sitting and relaxing he thanks bhairo and his entire family for leaving himspeechless at the way they have shopwered their love,and blessings on his child,anandi who he sent off in this house as the daughter in law and overtime lovingly became the pampered daughter of the house,so much so that she is more of theirs than her real parents.Bhairo says its their duty to look after her and they would have the same concern for her as sugna even after she’s married.Dadisa too asks Khajan to bless her that the way she had won over everybody when she came to this haveli,the same way she would win everybody’s hearts in shiv’s family.

Festivities and merriment are on in the haveli.Gehna gets the haldi for the ceremony and on being instructed by dadisa,she gets anandi down to the drawing room for the haldi ceremony to start.Dadisa comes upto her and lovingly pats her on the head and asks gehna to begin the ceremony.Somebody says the first right belongs to the mother to put haldi on the would be bride.Anandi is sad as she remembers bhago putting the haldi on heer in her BAL VIVAH.She thinks to herself that she knows her mother is here blessing her and guiding her through the rituals of the marriage. But she misses her mother aka her mother in law,sumitra who is responsible that she is the daughter of this house and not the bahu and she fervently wishes that by some miracle or magic,or as a favor in return of all her good deeds,she comes for performing the rituals of her marriage.She closes her eyes wishing that and her ears hear sumitra’s voice calling out to her.She opens her eyes disbelievingly and finds sumitra as the first lady in front of her to do her haldi.

While anandi is still stunned,everybody else too is pleasantly surprised seeing sumitra there.Sumitra asks anandi to stop crying as both hers and the whole family’s dreams are going to be fulfilled today.Still unable to believe,she touches sumitra to confirm and she smilingly tells her that she’s not in a dream as her mother is actually here.After putting haldi on hr,she tells her that there was no way she could have missed her daughter’s marriage for anything in the world.Anandi is glee hugs her tight and tears flow down both their cheeks.Dadisa jokingly tells them that they should inform everybody else when their reunion is over so that they too can put haldi on her and commence th ceremony forward.While gehns comes next to put the haldi,sumitra takes the blessings of dadisa and casting one surreptitious glance at bhairo who too is happy to see her sits among the ladies.everybody blesses anandi one by one with the haldi.The screen freezes on anandi’s smiling face.
