Tappu is sitting in the garden when Ichha comes to meet her and tells her that Veer cannot sit besides her in the puja since she is Veer’s wife and so only she has the right to sit with him in any puja ;Hearing this Tappu too argues with Ichha by saying that she too is carrying Veer’s child and so she has every right to sit with Veer in the puja but Ichha is firm in her decision and tells Tappu that they r not small kids anymore when she used to share everything with her..when they used to ride the same bicycle…they r now adults and she is Veer’s wife..so on that grounds she has every right on her husband which she can’t share with anyone and she has now
learnt to voice her opinion for what is right and what is wrong ;Tappu is stunned to hear all this from Ichha’s mouth.
Taps is angry with Ichcha and Nani comes to comfort her. Later when Veer comes home, Mai tells him abt how he has to sit with Taps at the puja. Veer refuses to take part in any puja sitting next to Taps. Later in their room, Veer asks Ichcha how she can continue to be so strong and she says she will always be strong when he is by her side.
At night, someone knocks at Taps room. When she opens the door, no one is there but she sees someone in a white salwar suit slip away out the door. She follows the girl and stands outside, confused. The door shuts behind her and she is locked out. She tries hitting the door in vain. She throws stones at the windows, and Ichcha comes downstairs hearing the sound. She doesn’t see anyone from the window, so she goes back to her room. Nani, who is getting water, notices Ichcha going back upstairs. Upstairs, Ichcha checks on Veer and puts a blanket over him. He wakes up for a moment, smiles, and goes back to sleep. Meanwhile Taps outside picks up an old dusty sack and uses it for a blanket and sleeps outside.
